N1  - The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences has been engaged in clinical research and drug development of new/ coded formulations based on leads from classical texts, contemporary scientific and pharmacological leads for important diseases of National importance based of Ayurveda. 
The council has been putting efforts to translate the research findings into practices and make available to the needful at large. In this direction, the technologies of new coded drugs and formulations developed by the Council such as Ayush-64 for Malaria, Ayush-56 for Epilepsy, Ayush-82 for Diabetes mellitus etc. have been transferred to the Industry through National Research Development Corporation, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
